There Was This.
To the girl who didn't even graduate high school. The one many knew as a lost cause who would never turn around... whose life was one unimaginable trial upon another. From spending years overseas without the ability to contact your family and tell them you were alive. To losing your firstborn son when he was one year old, and losing so many years of his life. From secrets harbored since you were nursing... secrets that were eating you alive until God had you expose them, which opened a can of worms and brought much healing to other victims in your family who had covered their own pain for twice as long as you had.
Jail. Overdoses. The pits of despair where you believed not even God Himself could pull you out... mentally, and more often than not, physically too. You know what it is to suffer with a smile.
I know what it took. The countless all-nighters with the weight of the world on your shoulders. Surrendering it all through obedience while the bills continued to stack higher. Every time you thought you were at your end... no money, no developer you could reach out to. Not even the billion-dollar, top award-winning platform that started it all for you in 2023. Not because they didn't want to help. Many tried. But God had other plans.
Instead of influencers and celebrities coming to save you, this time God forced you to do something you'd never experienced before. You saw yourself not only as a hero... but as a warrior.
The businesses that finally brought the breakthrough... bringing your family out of food stamps and into your first five-figure week. The multiple six and seven-figure launches. Only to walk away from it all. Burn the boats. And not once or twice. It made no sense. Until it did.
Every time a new door was about to open, a previous one would violently close. And that hurt. But you learned that divine speed and striving are not the same. Although both require their own sacrifices... one produces good fruit, and the other will slowly drive you into the ground until God gets your attention and points you to your path of purpose, ever so lovingly and gently, as He always does.
And to my enemies... thank you. Thank you for helping me love more deeply, experience deeper forgiveness, and a much deeper appreciation for the value and beauty I have to offer this world. For that was only learned through the resistance. Trials on one's heels on another. And betrayals that still don't make any logical sense. Every time I blessed my enemies, telling myself out loud that they just don't understand... and praying for God to have mercy and help them overcome their own internal battles... God continued to use those very enemies as some of the most pivotal moments in my career.
He has done abundantly above all I could have ever asked or prayed for. And we are just getting started.
Thank you to the past me. The past businesses laid down. The past partnerships that prepared me for my calling and the anointing I am to carry... to help others excel in their purpose. In all things: influence, income, and impact. It is my greatest joy to help others succeed. And God is so good... He allowed me to do this for a living. And turns out, I'm pretty good at it.
